Prior to founding KAUF Leaders & Ventures, Andreas Kauf worked for Heidrick & Struggles, an American executive search firm for fourteen years. As a partner, he was responsible for technology and services. He managed, among other things, the implementation of a Software Practice in Europe, was responsible for 2 global accounts, initiated the Big Data Practice and supported the transfer of managers into non-technological sectors to be responsible for digital innovation there.
In addition, he worked as the Director of Internet Capital Group, an American venture capital company that invests in innovative companies across all sectors. His professional career began in a European management consultancy.
Mr. Kauf has lived in Asia, North America and Europe. He studied at ESSEC, Paris; University of Mannheim; Doshisha University, Kyoto; and Georgetown University, Washington, D.C, where he completed a Master of Science, a post-graduate programme and an Executive MBA. He is married and has 4 children.
